Peter Pietrzak is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in London and the South East of England in surgery and urology.
Peter spent two years at St George’s Hospital in London, researching conditions leading to development of penile cancer. Peter has travelled extensively presenting research at international meetings and has published research in leading urological journals.
He has also co-authored chapters in publications on men’s health. Apart from clinical medicine he is passionate about teaching young doctors and is actively involved in the postgraduate programme at Anglia Ruskin University in the field of urinary incontinence. Whether in clinical practice or in education, his central focus is on improving patient care.
Research interests: Penile cancer and over-active bladder (OAB).
